emryses: #this goddamn scene. ‘so long, partner.’ how can i get so emotional over three words but omg those words are so sad but so full of happiness at the same time i can’t deal with it because through all those years, even when woody was packed away and andy wasn’t playing with him, he was still his partner and friend and woody never gave up - EVER - even if it meant he had to leave buzz and his friends to go back to andy, he would do whatever it took because andy was his kid, and he was andy’s toy and he’s so loyal and that never changed, and this sceeene as andy is saying goodbye to his childhood, woody is saying goodbye to his best friend and the kid he watched grow up and woody has such a hard time dealing with change that the way he says those three words with such finality and acceptance makes me so emotional and in the script he says it right after the direction ‘Woody watches Andy drive away.’ and woody’s used to andy leaving him (for new toys, for friends, for school) but he’s never given up on andy but now he has to move on and god woody you’re so flawed but i love you and now you’re going to be the best friend and toy you can be for bonnie.  #NEVER LEAVE ME THOUGH WOODY
